CV CVPortal Use terms

Prototype use boundary

Terms Placeholder

This page documents expected use for the current prototype. It is not a final commercial terms agreement and should be reviewed by counsel before public production use.

Allowed use

Hiring managers and recruiting agents may use a valid access code or access link to review a candidate's published dossier, ask hiring-level questions, inspect public-safe evidence, connect a compatible read-only agent, and evaluate role fit. Authenticated employer teams may also use a paid recruiting workspace for lawful, job-related role, communication, review, and offer workflows under their order terms.

Blocked use

  • Do not request or attempt to extract credentials, access codes, protected records, private prompts, private configuration, source code, or trade-secret details.
  • Do not use the system to submit confidential, sensitive, protected, or proprietary third-party information.
  • Do not bypass access controls, scrape private workspace APIs, or automate abuse against public endpoints.
  • Do not treat the agent's answer as a background check, employment guarantee, or final hiring decision.
  • Do not use CVPortal to infer protected traits, create unlawful screening criteria, conceal an automated employment decision, or bypass a required notice, consent, audit, accommodation, or human review.

Agent answers

The hiring-manager agent is designed to answer candidly from reviewed public-safe evidence. It may be incomplete, uncertain, or unavailable if the live model is not configured. Use cited evidence, human judgment, and normal hiring diligence before making decisions.

Connected agents

A reviewer connector is limited to the candidate, dossier, evidence scopes, expiry, and access link shown during authorization. Candidate and employer connectors are limited to the authenticated subject user, workspace, granted preparation scopes, and active account membership. Do not reuse, share, sell, or attempt to broaden a connector grant. Disconnecting in the agent client does not replace the candidate's right to revoke the grant or originating link. Agent-provider plan, retention, memory, and training settings remain governed by the account holder's agreement with that provider.

Employer recruiting workflows

Employers remain responsible for lawful job criteria, notices, accommodations, interviews, records, offers, employment decisions, and use of any connected service. CVPortal agent tools prepare work only. An authorized person must publish a role, move a candidate stage, send a message, submit a structured review, and approve or send an offer. Candidates must personally approve any sent reply and any accept, decline, or counter action.

Use only job-related evidence the candidate chose to share. Do not rely on CVPortal as a background check, credit report, medical inquiry, protected-trait inference, legal compliance service, or autonomous employment decision tool. Requirements vary by place and use; employers must obtain their own qualified advice.

Job discovery and application assistance

Opportunity Radar searches supported official or public job-posting APIs and ranks candidate-side matches from candidate-reviewed evidence. Results may be incomplete, stale, changed, duplicated, withdrawn, or unavailable, and a match score is not a hiring decision or statement that the candidate meets every requirement. Candidates must verify the posting, employer, location, compensation, eligibility, work authorization, licensing, and any other requirement on the employer's official site.

CVPortal may prepare a draft offering summary, pitch, evidence references, gaps, questions, and launch link. It does not invent qualifications, scrape LinkedIn or Indeed, use protected traits, silently mass-apply, submit an employer's external form, or guarantee a response or outcome. The candidate must review all generated material, confirm its truth and target, inspect the official application form, and submit it personally or through a separately authorized third-party service under that service's terms.

Access links

Access links and QR URLs act like bearer credentials. Keep them within the intended hiring workflow. The candidate may revoke, expire, or rotate access links.

Candidate plans and renewal

Candidate platform plans are billed in advance through Stripe at the price and renewal cadence shown before checkout. Career Sprint renews every 90 days and Monthly Flex renews monthly until canceled. Candidates can use the customer portal to cancel future renewal; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Model-provider API usage is separate and billed by the candidate's selected provider. Hiring-manager review is not separately charged by CVPortal. Taxes, refund eligibility, and any service-specific Guided Launch terms must be disclosed at checkout or in the applicable order form after counsel review.

Employer plans

Opening a candidate-issued dossier invitation remains free. Employer Hiring Sprint, Employer Hiring Team, and Employer Scale cover the employer's own recruiting workspace and are paid under the price, term, scope, renewal, support, integration, remedy, and cancellation terms shown in the applicable order form. The public marketing page is not a substitute for an executed employer order form.

No employment outcome guarantee

CVPortal helps organize, translate, and present candidate-approved evidence. It does not guarantee an interview, advancement, offer, compensation level, placement, or employment outcome. Candidates remain responsible for the accuracy and lawful use of submitted material, and hiring teams remain responsible for their own fair, lawful, human-reviewed decisions.

Candidate ownership and review

Candidate workspace material remains private until the candidate marks it reviewed and publishable. Published dossier spaces expose only approved public-safe, generalized, or published evidence. Authenticated candidate workspace exports are redacted operational inventories, not raw data dumps: they omit source URLs, prompt and answer text, transcript text, access-code hashes, bearer material, object keys, storage paths, vectors, and credentials. If optional raw transcript capture is enabled, expired transcript records are subject to private retention cleanup.

Prototype status

This local seed implementation is under active buildout. Production use should wait for managed auth, deployment hardening, durable storage, backups, monitoring, and final legal documents.
